Course:             The Pandemic History of WNC (TB to COVID) - 6 weeks

Date:                   Thursdays, March 2, 2023 - March 16, 2023; and March 30, 2023

Time:                  1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Description:  This course will study the history of pandemics in WNC. We will study Spanish Flu, TB, AIDS and of course COVID-19. The WNC region has a rich history of involvement with this topic...everything from the TB Sanitarium era in Asheville and surroundings and eerily similar responses to the Spanish Flu and COVID. The course will be lecture with ample time for discussion and questions. The course will be taught over a 4-week period.
