Opened in 2006, the center spans 67,250 square feet and houses a stunning 1,024-seat main theatre, equipped with high-level theatrical systems capable of hosting everything from symphonies to Broadway-caliber performances. The Main Theatre Lobby features walls with special display materials and lighting, designed to create galleries that complement and celebrate student artwork. Additionally, the center features a versatile 175-seat Black Box Theatre, ideal for intimate performances, meetings, and lectures.

The Robson Performing Arts Center plays a vital role in arts education, nurturing young talent, and fostering a more engaged, creative community. Its mission is to promote arts education for the students of the Claremore school district by providing a safe, technically proficient venue. The center supports Claremore's Fine Arts Department, including high school and junior high band, vocal music, theatre, art, and elementary fine arts programs, ensuring it remains a pillar of creativity and opportunity.

When not being used for district activities, the center's facilities are available for use by individuals, organizations, and corporations on a non-discriminatory basis, contributing to the cultural vitality of Claremore and its surrounding areas. The Robson Performing Arts Center stands as a symbol of dedication to the cultural and artistic wellbeing of the community, bringing dreams to life for both students and residents alike.
