We welcome the funk this year for our Dec 30 show - like new year's eve without the fuss. This event is now taking place in the Gotham main room. Big thanks to everyone buying advance tickets!

Help us welcome Father Funk back! The whole team at Footwerk Events is excited to have two of our favorite Fractal Forest regulars back in Kelowna.  

/// MUSIC /// 

Father Funk fuses elements of Funk, Hip Hop, and Disco with floor shaking beats and is always delivered with a cheeky grin and thunderous energy. His remixes of timeless classics and dusty funk gems are instantly recognizable. They are staples in the sets of countless DJs worldwide including some of the biggest names in the industry. His "Church of Love" themed UK festival stage and club night showcases the very best in funky bass music -  an undeniably good recipe for positive energy and good vibes.

Wes Please 

Wes Please has worked incredibly hard to get to where he is today and it shows! A recent health-related journey forced him to grow as an artist and adapt as a person. His electrifying house and bass music sets have gained a very loyal fan base across the interior region of BC. In summer of 2022, he had the great honour of returning to the world renown "Funkiest place on earth;" the Fractal Forest stage at Shambhala Music festival. He also performed at many other Western Canadian festivals playing shoulder to shoulder with artists who were once those he admired from the dance floor. Shout out to his super fans, supporters, and those closest to him including Kelowna's trailblazing Footwerk Events and The Beatlab in Kelowna - all who have put their weigh behind his aspirations. Wes continues to make his dreams a reality.

CONSTRUCT 

Catch Construct laying down the newest forms of Bass Music, blurring the lines between experimental beats, and mind blowing sound design everywhere he goes. STYLES: Bass beats, Minimal Trap, Grime, Uk Funky, 808 Breaks, Jungle, DnB, Juke, Breakcore, Wonky, Exp. Hip hop, and the occasional dubstep for a little throwback magic. AFFILIATIONS: Conkrete MTL / Sound Museum / Saturate!Records / Valhalla Sound Circus / Future Forest.

Please note that our feature guests hops on the decks 90 mins earlier than they used to at our past shows (12:30am). Plan accordingly! If you aren't inside by 1030pm, you're late! No Joke.

10pm - doors open

Why the new timeline? Because we heard you! 

• Getting out of the house earlier is fab
• Better for your sitter (we hope you have one!)
• Better for linking up your pre-show-plans
• "Bar flush" sucks; let's avoid it, and not add to it
• Finding a cab near 2am is tough
• Get to Dunn Enzies for a late night slice before the rush
• Getting home a tad earlier helps

Also, take your time getting your coat and herding your friends from around 1am. The bright lights stay off, the music continues, and everyone can do their thing. You will not be rushed.
