Description
Hey kids, join Reforest Our Future and the Beaver County Conservation District for a fun, hands-on program where children will discover how trees and plants growing along streams, called riparian buffers, help keep Pennsylvania's waterways clean and healthy.
Through interactive activities, games, and nature exploration, participants will learn how native trees provide homes for wildlife, reduce erosion, filter pollution, and keep streams cool for fish and other aquatic life. Designed for children of all ages, this engaging program introduces young conservationists to the important role they can play in protecting our local environment.
PLEASE NOTE:
This program is FREE and open to youth of all ages.
Parents/guardians must accompany their children for the duration of the event.
