Hey kids, get ready to explore the great outdoors all summer long! Discover local ecology, your artistic side, and how good it feels to splash around in the creek at our Forest Explorers summer program.
Our sessions will take place every Wednesday and Friday (except holidays) from 10am to 1pm, June through August...and a few special sessions thrown in throughout the summer! Forest Explorers is free, open to all, and includes a snack time.
Last year we saw snakes, frogs, salamanders, rare parasitic plants, an owl, and more. We played on the slack line, frolicked in the forest, and made DIY bird feeders...and this year, we'll have double the amount of activities!
Parents, join your kids twice a week as they participate in hands-on learning at our nursery and dive into woodland adventures. ROF founder and director, Jeff, and nursery manager and educator, Audrey, will lead our intrepid crew on hikes, creek walks, and fun nature crafts for everyone to enjoy.
All ages are welcome at Forest Explorers, with infants to 6th grade being the frequent range.
Space is limited so please register in advance to each session. We will have Forest Explorer's twice a week this June through August (except on holidays)...feel free to come to one, a few, or all of the days!
Parents and guardians, please accompany your children. This event is FREE and open to all!
