Kids, join us for a Forest Explorers special event this August! Reforest Our Future is partnering up with Three Rivers Waterkeeper to take youth and their parents on an adventure-filled ecology walk and talk.
While we explore the banks of Brady's Run lake and it's tributaries, we'll take a deep dive into water quality monitoring, pollution, and the unique flora and fauna found on waterways! Three Rivers Waterkeeper will discuss their exciting work of helping keep our waterways monitored and clean and show us an up-close look at different career opportunities that will keep your kids out in nature for a life-time.
Get ready to embrace your inner field scientist as we observe waterfowl, aquatic organisms, and unique flora up close while building an appreciation for our Pennsylvania waterways!
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
This event is FREE AND OPEN TO ALL AGES.
Parents/guardians must accompany their children for the duration of the hike.
Bring shoes you don't mind getting wet.
Snack is provided for all Explorers!
