Join us for a joyful family friendly harvest celebration at the beautiful established forest garden orchard and family hub at Hollingdean Park.
 

Growing Hollingdean in partnership with Brighton & Hove Food Partnership invites you to join us for a joyful harvest celebration in our forest gardens and the beautiful established orchard at Hollingdean Park.
 

Forest Garden Harvest Celebration
Sunday 5th October
- 10am - 12pm – Volunteer with Growing Hollingdean
- 12pm – 4pm - Harvest Festival
 

Come and celebrate autumn's bounty with us! Activities include:

  • Harvesting fresh apples and produce
  • Fresh apple pressing and free juice
  • Traditional Appalachian folk music
  • Storytelling
  • Sharing stories of our growing journey
  • Cookery demonstrations
  • Games
     

Whether you are a regular volunteer or you're new to our growing community, come and taste the rewards of what we've created together.
 

Light lunch will be provided for all attendees, children are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult, we will be outside so please bring clothes suitable for outdoor activities that you don't mind getting dirty.
