The Advanced Academy is a modern cosmetology, barbering, and esthetics school dedicated to raising industry standards through advanced education, hands-on training, and real-world career preparation. Since 2021, we’ve offered workshops for everyone—from beginner students to advanced professionals—and welcome all attendees, whether or not they’re enrolled students, to continue learning, growing, and elevating their craft.
Description
Foundational Consultation focuses on building strong client communication skills and setting realistic expectations before a service begins. This course teaches students how to ask the right questions, actively listen, and translate a client’s goals into an achievable service plan.
Students will learn how to identify consultation red flags, manage last-minute changes, and confidently guide conversations around maintenance, timing, and results. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, clarity, and creating a positive client experience that supports both the stylist and the client.
