We invite you to join us for a C.S. Lewis College and C.S. Lewis Foundation webinar featuring Choreographer Silas Farley and Composer Kyle Werner.
There will be a short presentation on the Four Loves ballet It will be followed by an interview with our moderator, along with a Q&A session with questions from our audience.

About Silas Farley
Silas Farley is a ballet teacher, choreographer, and Armstrong Artist in Residence at Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts. A former dancer with New York City Ballet and former Dean of the Trudl Zipper Dance Institute at The Colburn School, he has taught and choreographed for major institutions nationally and internationally. His works have been presented at venues including Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Jacob's Pillow, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Farley is also the writer and host of Hear the Dance, the New York City Ballet podcast, and has contributed to publications like Dance Magazine and Dance Index. He frequently speaks on the intersection of faith and the arts and serves on the Board of The George Balanchine Foundation.
About Kyle Werner
Kyle Werner is a New York City–based composer whose music draws from natural landscapes, birdsong, art, and theology to renew and deepen the classical tradition. He frequently collaborates with choreographer Silas Farley, with works featured by Houston Ballet, The Washington Ballet, Wolf Trap, MarqueeTV, and the Guggenheim.
His concert works have been performed by ensembles and artists such as the Balourdet Quartet, Windscape, Raehann Bryce-Davis, and members of Eighth Blackbird, with appearances at the Colburn School, University of Michigan, and the Society for American Music Conference. He has served as composer-in-residence at Chamber Music Campania in Italy.
Werner holds Doctor and Master of Music degrees from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor’s from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He directs the Geneva Conservatory at the Geneva School of Manhattan and teaches at Manhattan School of Music Precollege.
He lives in Northern Manhattan with his wife, Laura, and enjoys cooking, birding, hiking, sailing, and exploring nature.
