Nestled in the heart of Connecticut's largest historic district, the Webb Deane Stevens Museum's three historic houses tell important stories of national and statewide significance.
Description
Pinhole cameras, pinhole photography. Both a metaphor for simplicity. No lens, just light passing through a tiny hole. Camera Obscura optics. No viewfinder, just a trusting and surprising personal visual journey. Peter Brown will discuss how he captures landscapes, bridges and other structures that bring a dreamlike, historical sense of something not quite real, with the notion of memories of places that won’t fully materialize.
