Join us New Year’s Day at The Broadside!  A FREE SHOW with THE DESERT NUDES, in the Pavilion.  Complimentary Black Eye Peas and Cabbage (prepared by the one and only Chris Herrington) will be served during the show until they are gone! Showtime 3pm. 


The Desert Nudes play music that is at equally at home around a campfire and on a big stage. Largely drawing from the deep well of Western and cowboy songs, these fellas set the tone for an always fun and laid back musical experience with an emphasis on vocal harmonies.

Featuring André Bohren (Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, Spencer Bohren, Rory Danger & the Danger Dangers) on guitar and vocals, David Pomerleau (Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, Spencer Bohren, The Walrus) on bass and vocals, and John Paul Carmody (South Jones, Colin Davis & Night People) on guitar and vocals, The Desert Nudes cover a wide swath of musical ground with an ease that can only come from years of playing together. Their debut record, Keep A Movin’ Dan was released in 2024, with a followup album in the works.

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
  • We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  • Our outdoor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. If you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
