Join us for the annual Golden Bear Bash back at the Great Room at Savage Mill! This fundraising event supports Hammond High Schools amazing sports teams and clubs!
This year's theme is 70s DISCO! This year join us to dance the night away to 70s tunes. Be sure to join the soul train line for a dance off. Costumes are not required but encouraged! Prizes will be awarded for the Best duo or group, the grooviest, most original and a few others that will be announced closer to the date. The Bear Bash is open to all friends, neighbors, teachers, coaches and alumni over the age of 21!
Each ticket includes full dinner buffet, open bar (beer and wine), non-alcoholic beverages (soda, water, etc.), dancing, access to the silent auction (must be in attendance to bid this year, we will not be offering online bidding), and raffles. Back by popular demand will be casino games, sweets and treats, 50/50 raffles( bring cash) Plus, you are going to want to try our groovy event themed adult beverage for purchase. To streamline our ordering process, casino money and tickets for raffles and wasted wagon will be available for purchase at the bash. We will be accepting cash, credit card and checks for all purchases.
Also, we will return to table write in bids throughout the evening. The silent auction will run from 7 pm- 10 pm and checkout will begin no later than 1030 pm. All event attendees will be given early access to view items that will be part of the auction.
In order to make this event possible we need your help. Please consider donating to our sweet and treats table with wine, candy, desserts and sweet snacks and also volunteering. It would be wonderful for members of the committee that have worked tirelessly for months to plan this event to be able to enjoy the fruits of their labors, so please sign up to help out for a short time. (there will be special volunteer only raffles and incentives) The sign up to donate items and volunteer will be sent out separately to all attendees.
