Description

Our Friday Night League is a round robin style competition, where players are placed in groups of four or more, based on each player's WLS rating*. The goal is to group players of similar skill levels together to create the most competitive matches possible. Each person will have a chance to play against all of the competitors in their group. All match results will be entered into the WLS database via the WLS app (download here). The results will determine the winner and runner up for each group. These results will be published online and linked to from our website. 

 

*WLS ratings are automatically created for everyone who participates in a round robin tournament at South Bay Table Tennis, or through other clubs that use the WLS system. If you do not have a WLS rating, we will assign you a preliminary rating based on our best estimate of your skill level. Your rating will change over time based on your win/loss record in the league. 

 

ONLINE REGISTRATION is required.

League competition happens on Fridays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Players are encouraged to arrive as early as 6:30 PM to warm up. View our Online Calendar for upcoming events.

Our sales department is open 7 days a week by phone, and 24/7 online.  We offer remote product sales, with curbside pick-up or fast, contact free delivery. We also offer onsite sales at our showroom in Torrance.

We specialize in high quality ping pong tables for home, office, commercial and institutional use. In most cases, we can assemble your new table at our facility and provide fast, contact-free delivery anywhere in California. We also offer high quality paddles, balls and accessories, including ping pong ball machines – the perfect solo practice partner. 

We are located inside the LA Galaxy Indoor Soccer Center in Torrance, California. WE ARE OPEN! Our business hours are Monday to Friday 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturdays 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sundays 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  We offer private lessons, kids classes, onsite table rentals, open play sessions and round robin tournaments.
