Step into Friday Night Lights, an interactive and immersive Shabbat experience at the Glazer campus. Begin the evening with wine, cheese, and light bites, followed by an abbreviated musical Shabbat service. Then, choose your own Shabbat adventure: from reflective visions and card creations, to musical jams, learning sessions, or family fun. Come as you are, find what fills you up, and make this Shabbat your own. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Evening Schedule:
5–6 PM – Wine & light bites on Siegel Patio
6–6:30 PM – Kabbalat Shabbat Musical Experience (outdoors)
6:30–7:15 PM – Choose Your Own Shabbat Adventure (pre-registration requested)
7:30–8 PM – Gather together for blessings and BYO Picnic Dinner
8 PM – Closing moment of connection and reflection
BREAK OUT ROOMS:
Reflect and Create Visions for the New Year
Led by acclaimed art educator and congregant Berry Stein, this creative session offers space to reflect on the past year and set intentions through personalized Rosh Hashanah greeting cards. This session is geared towards adults.

Join Rabbi Susan Nanus to explore the Akedah story through the perspectives of Abraham, Isaac, Sarah, God, and Ishmael in this thought-provoking session.
Traditional Ma’ariv Service
Led by Rabbinic Intern, Ben Poor, this contemplative evening service in the Factor Chapel includes the Mourner’s Kaddish for those observing yahrzeit or in mourning.
Rosh Hashanah Birthday Party Games
Led by Adrian Taha-Green, Assistant Director of Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps, this fun-filled session is designed for children of all ages. Join us for a variety of camp-themed games inspired by beloved birthday traditions—perfect for celebrating the birthday of the world in true camp spirit!
