Description

Class dates: Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31, Feb. 7, 14

 

This Beginner Wheel class is suitable for anyone over age 18 who is interested in learning how to throw on the pottery wheel.

 

Classes are every Friday from 6PM-8:30PM for 6 weeks,  Includes 2.5 hours of hands-on instruction each week, use of community tools, clay, and 2 finished pieces* each. Keep additional pieces* for $10 each. (*7 inches tall or wide, whichever is larger).  

 

About your teacher

 

Syd picked up pottery about 6 years ago and learned from teachers, friends, and hands-on experience in a community studio before they became a teacher themself in 2021. Syd’s personal work is about seeing yourself in a piece of art. They hope to show their students the infinite possibilities that have been and can be created with clay.
