Description
This kid-focused workshop features FRIEDA’s own superhero, Churro! Churro is a favorite character from our popular art installation and community outreach program, STUFFED.
Participants will learn the basics of making a comic book, involving storytelling, visual art, and problem-solving, while learning how to craft a narrative from beginning to end. Plus we’ll practice using drawing as a tool to express emotion, action, and pacing.
Demo + Workshop: 9:00 am – 10:30 am
(Kids ages 6+ are welcome)

Sandra Rothman and Judith O'leary are both educators and have participated in FRIEDA's STUFFED Outreach Program, helping to engage children in writing projects throughout the Philadelphia area.
