Description
This kid-focused workshop features Latke, a friendly refrigerator and her many friends! Latke is a favorite character from our popular art installation and community outreach program, STUFFED.
Participants will learn the basics of making a comic book, involving storytelling, visual art, and problem-solving, while learning how to craft a narrative from beginning to end. Plus we’ll practice using drawing as a tool to express emotion, action, and pacing.
Workshop: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
(Kids ages 7-10 welcome)
Price included: All materials and instruction will be provided.

Sandra Rothman is an educator who taught English and ESL in the public school system and at the Nationalities Service Center. She was the editor for the Society Hill Reporter for more than a decade. Sandra has both a BS and a master’s degree in education.
