  • $200 add-on for early arrival and Friday (6/7) evening activities

Hosted by ACRE'S Board of Directors, we invite you to join us for the third annual Friends and Family Weekend at the farm and residency in Steuben, Wisconsin. This relaxing and convivial weekend gives ACRE supporters an opportunity to witness the beauty of the Driftless landscape, enjoy delicious farm-to-table dining, and to experience firsthand our multi-faceted residency environment.

 

Activities and Amenities:

  • Saturday dinner and cocktails by the bonfire
  • Interactive tour of studio facilities
  • Sunday brunch served by ACRE Kitchen
  • Overnight stay in our rustic lodge
  • Additional optional activities include nature walks and board games on the porch

About the Site:

Set on 1,000 acres of wetland, hills, and farmland in the Driftless region of Southwest Wisconsin, ACRE Residency facilities offer expansive communal studio spaces. Sleeping accommodations in the lodge are furnished with private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and porches. ACRE Kitchen prepares meals using local ingredients that support organic and sustainable food producers in the region. 

 

Confirmed guests will be sent a guest intake form, an informational brochure, and detailed directions to the residency site.

ACRE (Artists’ Cooperative Residency & Exhibitions) is an artist-run, community-driven organization that produces programs and initiatives offering resource-sharing, opportunities for professional growth, and the generative connections artists need to thrive. Together we:
