The Advanced Academy is a modern cosmetology, barbering, and esthetics school dedicated to raising industry standards through advanced education, hands-on training, and real-world career preparation. Since 2021, we’ve offered workshops for everyone—from beginner students to advanced professionals—and welcome all attendees, whether or not they’re enrolled students, to continue learning, growing, and elevating their craft.
Description
This course focuses on understanding, selecting, and performing keratin and smoothing treatments tailored to each client’s hair type and goals. Students will learn how to assess hair texture, condition, and lifestyle to choose the most appropriate smoothing service.
The class covers proper application techniques, processing considerations, and maintenance recommendations to achieve smooth, manageable results while preserving hair integrity. Emphasis is placed on client consultation, realistic expectations, and delivering consistent, frizz-free outcomes.
