Description

This will be an introductory class for beginning tree fruit growers and those new to our area. Fran, a certified Idaho Master Gardener will cover types of fruit trees to grow here (and what doesn't survive) site selection, correct growing zones (think zone 4) general care, cultivar selection for northern sites, and the most common pests and diseases of our area. Basic pruning techniques will be covered and resources will be available to help you with this skill.
