Join us for a unique evening celebrating Brighton's food scene, community spirit, and Dyslexic Awareness Week, all while raising funds for the Community Kitchen Charity's A Recipe for Life programme.
This is not a cooking class, but a relaxed and entertaining evening hosted by, in their words ‘two of Brighton's boldest, baldest, and most charismatic chefs’: Pat Timpson of Riddle & Finns and Nick Jaye, The Bald Chef Nick, author and dyslexia advocate.
Generously donating their time in support of this important cause, Pat and Nick invite you to enjoy "A Deliciously Dyslexic Taste of Beautiful Brighton"; an evening of exceptional seafood, inspiring stories, and great company. You can expect:
Drink on arrival – BYOB welcome
Seafood buffet with puddings
Riddle and Finns goodies and offers
Chance to buy signed copy of Nicks book
Hear about Nick's journey and he will be reading from one of his new books
This special fundraiser has been generously supported by Riddle & Finns, Bald Chef Nick, and Brighton and Newhaven Fish Sales - helping us raise vital funds for the Community Kitchen Charity's ‘A Recipe for Life’ programme, which supports children and young people through food education and cookery experiences.
Allergies:
The menu for the evening contains seafood, including shellfish and molluscs.
There will be gluten free options available. We cannot guarantee the Kitchen is a completely Gluten Free environment.
This class is not adaptable for a vegan diet.
For any other allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us to discuss before booking.
Whether you're a seafood lover, a supporter of local charities, interested in dyslexia advocacy, or simply looking for a memorable evening out in Brighton, we'd love you to join us.
The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership's Community Kitchen is a cookery school where everyone can cook, learn new skills and enjoy food with others. We want everyone to experience the benefits of cooking and eating together. By paying for a cookery class, you help other people to attend cookery activities, regardless of finance, confidence or ability, and to make lasting changes to their lives.
