Hosted by Focus Eventures LLC @ Porte Noire Farm & Gardens (aka The Porte)
Step aboard the Funkytown Sip & Sound Tour, a rolling celebration of music, culture, and small-town soul! This will be a mock tour, slightly altered from our flagship tour, to provide a taste of what's to come. Our goal is to provide an amazing experience for Franklinton leadership to pilot a new attraction that will boost downtown tourism, bringing locals and out-of-towners to patron downtown and experience FunkyTown's revival!
Departing from The Porte, this guided bus experience takes you on a vibrant journey through Franklin County’s fastest growing town. Ride in garden style as our lively host mixes music, history and trivia; sharing fun facts and hidden gems from Franklinton to Louisburg and back.
Enjoy local sights where our riders will visit sip-and-shop stops while enjoying plenty of good vibes along the way; including an in-town break on Louisburg’s historic Nash Street, and a one-hour stop in Downtown Franklinton to eat, drink, and explore. We will not be stopping downtown Louisburg or Franklinton for this pilot tour, we will return to The Porte for a brief feedback round table with food ad beverage.
Whether looking for a new way to see home or a visitor ready to groove through history, this tour brings the rhythm, the laughter, and the connection that make Funkytown unforgettable.
