About this Class
Discover the art of fused glass as you create a colorful mosaic style Cross which can be made into a suncatcher, ornament or framed display piece. In this hands-on class, you'll explore the creative possibilities of glass fusion by nipping and assembling colorful shapes onto a precut cross base measuring approximately 4". This is a beginner level class. All materials are provided—come ready to experiment and express your artistic vision!
Here are some details to keep in mind when signing up.
Fused glass projects require kiln firing time and will take about 1-2 weeks to be ready for pickup.
Attendees must be at least 18 years of age, or 15 if participating with a parent or legal guardian.
Proper attire is required for all class participants. You will need to wear closed toe shoes, socks and long pants (below knee capris are acceptable).
Protective eyewear will be provided, but feel free to bring your own safety goggles if you prefer.
Each glass class will begin with a review of the safety rules and proper glass cutting and handling techniques.
