Fused Glass Open Studio

Description

Join us for Fused Glass Open Studio, a creative time set aside for experienced glass artists, from confident beginners to seasoned makers! During your studio time, you’ll have the freedom to work on the fused glass project of your choice. We provide the tools, supplies, and a wide selection of glass to help you bring your vision to life. Need a little inspiration? We also have project ideas available to spark your creativity.

• Registration is required.
• Studio fee: $15, plus the cost of your project.
• Project costs vary based on size, glass type, materials used, and kiln time.
• Payments are due on the day of your session and can be made by cash or card.

To help us prepare for your visit, please fill out the Open Studio Project Reservation Form in advance and let us know what you plan to make.

Note: Open Studio is intended for individuals who already have experience with fused glass techniques, including glass cutting, tool use, and basic workshop safety.

• Fused glass projects require kiln firing time 2-3 weeks for pickup.
• Attendees must be at least 18 years of age, or 15 if participating with a parent or legal guardian.
• Proper attire is required for all class participants. You will need to wear closed toe shoes, socks and long pants (below knee capris are acceptable).
• Protective eyewear will be provided, but feel free to bring your own safety goggles if you prefer.
• Glass workshops require students to sign a waiver acknowledging and assuming the risks of working with glass.  
• Our studio is located on the 2nd floor with stair only access.
• There is on and off-street parking with reserved spaces in the side parking lot.

Refund policy:  We require a 48-hour (2-day) cancellation notice in order to issue a refund.  If you do not cancel at least 48-hours in advance, no refund will be issued.
