DUPREE
He is a virtuoso based out of the south Suburbs of Chicago. Dupree is a singer, artist, dancer, and one of the founding members of Fusion of Light Ent. His musical journey began at the age of six in his Church Choir. Seventeen years later he has graced countless stages from Lollapalooza in 2022 to here at the Uncommon Ground in 2023. He recently dropped his second single “No Access’” and his third single “Make it Count” is dropping before the year is over. He is currently reviewing his role as Peewee” in “The Other Cinderella” at the Black Ensemble Theater. On social media, he's dedicated his social media platforms to his music, comedy, and advocating for human rights. Ladies, Gentlemen, theys and thems, please welcome Blake Dupree.
AURIN
"IAMAURIN is a Chicago-based singer-songwriter from Memphis, TN. She began her career as a recording artist at twelve years old and released two albums by the time she turned sixteen. Now, Aurin has established a unique synthesis of sound that blends R&B, Electonic-Indie, and Alternative Soul music. With the occasional help of her band The H.Ex, she cultivates a sound-world that gives voice to the complexity of the human experience. In it, she mirrors the human condition by transmuting emotion into a self-liberating catharsis for herself and her listeners. Her best advice as you listen? Try feeling it all at once. Unless you plan on streaming her music. Then maybe save some for later."
SHAYLIN B
Shaylin B is a multi-talented artist from Chicago who moved to California at the age of eleven to pursue her career. Since a child, she has always known her purpose was to be an entertainer. At the age of nine, Shaylin B performed in the Tony Award winning musical, The Lion King on Broadway, as "Young Nala" at the Minskoff Theatre in New York. Although she began her career in musical theater, she has always had a passion for writing and performing R&B/Pop music. Her career has just begun, and she’s already performed with some of the industry’s finest, such as Kanye West, Anderson Paak., Ty Dolla Sign, Tink, and more. A voice for the future, Shaylin wants to contribute to culture by creating timeless music.
