Don’t have a date for Valentine’s Day? Good! Grab your girlfriends and head to The Black Box Improv Theater Feb 16 or Feb 17 at 8 p.m. for our annual Galentine’s Day Shows.
Galentine’s Day is a day for women to leave the men at home and brunch with a lot of booze. The holiday was created by Leslie Knope, the main character from “Parks and Recreation.” The show was a mockumentary on NBC from 2009-2015. Knope was played by an improv veteran, Amy Poehler.
An all-female-identifying cast taking audience suggestions and performing in celebration of female friendships everywhere.
Doors open at 7:00 pm. The show starts at 8.
