Gaptooth and Pleasure Savior return to the Broadside for another fun outdoor movie screening.  This edition Is the Parker Posey romp "Party Girl". Get your friends together for a fun night at the movies.  Outdoors and on the big screen.

This movie speaks to me for obvious reasons, but not just cuz I’m a party girl, but I remember tryna figure out how to survive doin whatever the fuck what I want, without really havin to listen to anyone.

Obvi that perspective rarely ages well, but tbh I CAN do whatever I want without really havin to listen to anyone, BUT there’s levels to that shit.

Do your thing, but make sure you look out for one another. That’s the lesson this movie taught me.
 

Also hands down my hometown’s best fashion period… SHOUT OUT to Parker Posey but a very special shout out to Parker Posey’s LOOKS.

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
      We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed.
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for  The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  •   Our outdor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. You are welcome to bring your own chairs, if you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
