Description
Join us for a workshop where we discover the magic of poetry inspired by nature in our Abundance Garden. During this workshop, we'll give ourselves permission to tune out the distractions and noise of our modern world and tune in to the language of the trees, plants, and ecosystem around us. We'll practice paying close attention to our surroundings, re-energizing our curiosity, and playing with language to help us best communicate our experiences in the garden through the power of words. We'll get to know one another and learn about the identities and experiences that shape us as human beings, all while this beautiful land holds us up in grace, creativity, humility, and joy.
At the end of the workshop, participants will walk away with profound reflections from the experience, a few writing prompts to take home, and some beautiful poems; product of the communal and personal writing exercises that will take place.
Writers of any level of experience are welcome no matter the genre.
Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
