Description

Expecto Campers! A small group of children is invited to join our educators for enchanted garden activities specially designed for our younger campers to bring the magic of the outdoors into their life! Ages 5-7, campers will explore nature’s magic in the gardens of Sonoma Garden Park and oak woodland glen. From treasure hunts and pollinator pursuits to games and tasting the garden’s bounty. We will dig into the soil, create art and explore science in the magical world of the garden. Campers are asked to bring their own snacks and lunch.

The camp will be led by our education project manager Julia Megna, retired Sonoma County school teacher of 21 years, artist and dancer. For more information on SEC education programming, check out our video on the field trip and teen programs offered at the Sonoma garden park:

*We look forward to joining together in person and engaging with youth once again, off-screen and in-nature. However, given the uncertainties of our public health guidelines, our camps will be continually evolving. We will abide but whatever our scientists and medical experts deem as safe for in-person meetings when the camps start this summer. At this time we are limiting the sign-ups for this camp to no more than 12 participants.
