Garden to Gourmet: Herb Butter Workshop
April 14th at 6:30 PM
Fresh herbs. Warm bread. Real butter. An evening you will absolutely love.
Join us for a hands-on experience where garden meets kitchen and flavor comes alive. We’ll cover everything you need to know about growing herbs successfully in Ohio and the best varieties for cooking and everyday use.
We’re also excited to welcome Chris from His Saving Grains in Fort Recovery, Ohio. This family business uses a patented crushing process, invented by John Bihn, that preserves the grain’s natural structure without additives, preservatives, or enrichment. By preventing oxidation and retaining 100% of the grain’s nutrition, their products support better digestion and nutrient absorption. They don’t just feed people, they nourish them.
Then the fun begins. You’ll create your own fresh herb butter using a mortar and pestle, experiment with incredible flavor combinations, and enjoy tastings with warm bread from His Saving Grains.
Come ready to learn, taste, laugh, and leave inspired with new skills and something delicious you created yourself.
Cost: $50 Includes your choice of 3 fresh herbs, butter to enjoy and take home, full instruction, tastings with artisan bread, and a mortar and pestle to keep.
While most with Gluten intolerance can eat His Saving Grains bread, please let us know if you are celiac or with a severe intolerance.
Seats are limited to keep the experience hands-on and personal, and this workshop is expected to fill quickly. Reserve your spot and come ready for a fun, flavorful evening where garden meets gourmet.
