Description

Led by conservationist and former US Fish and Wildlife Department employee Ron Garst, guests will enjoy a guided bird walk through the Garden, during which time they will learn about and look for the inter-migratory birds in the area in May, as well as native birds and their behaviors. Binoculars are encouraged!

Ron Garst is a former US Fish and Wildlife Department employee and currently volunteers his time working with Sustainable Silverton working to educate the public on a range of topics including birdwatching, the creation of backyard wildlife habitat and more.
