Description
Led by conservationist and former US Fish and Wildlife Department employee Ron Garst, guests will enjoy a guided bird walk through the Garden, during which time they will learn about and look for the inter-migratory birds in the area in May, as well as native birds and their behaviors. Binoculars are encouraged!

Ron Garst is a former US Fish and Wildlife Department employee and currently volunteers his time working with Sustainable Silverton working to educate the public on a range of topics including birdwatching, the creation of backyard wildlife habitat and more. The Oregon Garden's Garden University program offers ongoing adult education opportunities on topics in alignment with the Garden's mission, such as pruning, beekeeping, cooking, floristry and more.
