Natalie DaSilva, a Certified Oregon Naturalist with a lifelong interest in haiku, is coming to The Oregon Garden to guide you through constructing a haiku using nature as your inspiration - no experience needed, beginners are welcome!
The Oregon Garden in fall is an ideal place to explore the connection between traditional Japanese Haiku poetry and the wonders of nature! In this workshop, participants will learn about the centuries-old tradition to connect with nature through a short and simple form of poetry. Natalie will be sharing her own haiku poems and nature photos as apart of this workshop, and will also guide participants through trying their own hand writing haiku.
Pens & paper will be provided.
