Description
The Logan Mansion is once again hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner experience. The theme is Gatsby and we encourage all who purchase tickets to dress 1920's. Don't worry, we can give you some costume guidance and its quite easy to do.
This is a three hour event, it is highly interactive and you will have a blast!
What to expect?
Phase 1) Social Hour to get into character (pre-assigned), enjoy appetizers and adult libations. You will be given a secret envelope that will provide you with more character detail and guide you as to who you should speak to and what you should try to uncover.
Phase 2) Sit down elegant dinner (menu below). During this phase a murder occurs. If you happen to be the victim, no worries as you will still participate as a ghost. You will be guided with the second envelope that holds secrets only you will know.
Phase 3) Through group collaboration you will uncover or suggest who you believe the Murderer is. The plots are pretty detailed and during phase 3 we will serve dessert and other refreshments and adult libations. You will be guided with a third envelope at the beginning of phase 3.
MENU:
Phase 1: Assortment of various appetizers during the social hour along with adult libations and mock cocktails.
Phase 2: We will start with chopped Caeser Salad or a prohibition soup, then move to the entree of Filet, Salmon or Vegetarian. This includes roasted baby potatoes and asparagus served with warm bread and gourmet butter. There will also be self pour wine on the table, Red and White. This is a sit down formal dinner and it is important to interact with the other Gatsby characters. You will select your entree in advance of the event and have the opportunity to share any food allergies we need to know about.
Phase 3: This is when the Murderer is uncovered and we will start it with great dessert options, coffee, tea or after dinner cocktail..
This is a fun and fast moving event. The Gatsby Themed Murder Mystery is one of our guests favorite and is normally the selection for private events. Now, you have the chance to experience it. If you are attending with a spouse or partner, let us know as it impacts how character assignments are determined.
