Join us for a relaxed, hands-on pottery workshop designed for Gay & Bi Men (18+) where you’ll create your own ceramic catchall or trinket tray from clay. Whether you’re brand new to pottery or returning to the studio, this class is a fun and welcoming space to connect, create, and unwind.
Date: Friday, June 12, 2026
Time: 6:00–8:00 PM
Location: Community Clay RiNo
Alex will guide you through the handbuilding process and various finishing techniques as you shape and decorate a functional ceramic tray perfect for jewelry, keys, candles, accessories, or everyday essentials. This workshop focuses on hand-sculpting and molding techniques using clay and a variety of pottery tools rather than a pottery wheel.
What to expect:
• $75 per person
• 2 hours of hands-on clay instruction
• 1 large finished ceramic catchall/trinket tray included per person or 2 medium
• A relaxed, social, LGBTQ+ affirming environment
No prior experience is needed, just bring yourself. All materials, tools, clay, glazing, and firing are included.
After the workshop, we’ll professionally glaze and fire your piece, and it will be ready for pickup in approximately 3 weeks.
Tickets are limited. 18+
