Hosted by Flathead Cycle Riders, this non-profit event celebrates a local tradition dating back to the 1960s. What began as a daring challenge between skiers and horsemen has grown into one of the most exciting winter sporting events in the region. After being revived in the early 2000s, Whitefish Skijoring is bigger and better than ever — and 2026 marks 20 years of bringing this tradition back to life.
