PREREGISTRATION FOR THE JUNE 6, 2026 FLOAT IS NOW CLOSED, day of registration still available onsite!
Drop your boat and register at the Wellsville Riverwalk Plaza at 9:00 AM, Saturday June 6. Drive your car to the Amity Park river access, we will shuttle you back up, to get on the river by 10:00.
The run should take at least 4 hours, and up to 7 depending on river level and pace of floaters. Expect conditions for intermediate boat handling skills. Remember to bring your canoe or kayak, a life vest, a drink, sunscreen, hat, appropriate footwear(PLEASE: no flip-flops!) and dry bag for your phone/keys. We will have dry bags available for purchase at registration as well.
If you want to participate but do not own your own kayak, contact Epic Adventures for rentals!
A registration form and waiver are required for each person. Youth under 16 are free. Same-Day registration is available, but preregistering is preferred.
A $40 day-of registration fee supports GRW in its efforts to protect and maintain your local river, some GRW swag, and automatically enters you in the drawing to win a kayak!
The float will go off rain or shine barring extreme inclement weather or unsuitable water levels.
