We are collecting shelf-stable food for Central Queens Mutual Aid's pantry! Bring a can, box, or bag to help our neighbors!

Yant Art Space is on the second floor with no elevator, only stairs. There are multiple single-stall gender-inclusive restrooms.

Our mission is to empower LGBTQIA+ and women in comedy, arts and community. In an industry still heavily dominated by straight, white, cisgender men, we need opportunities created by and for us. We are not an LLC or nonprofit but rely on individual contributions.
In 2022, Lavender Laughs launched in New York City with shows and open mics. As of 2025, Lavender Laughs NYC operates in Manhattan and Queens. We have sibling organizations in Kitchener-Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) and Chicago, each produced independently.
