  • Looking for something fun to do in the winter?
  • Are you a resident of Hollingdean or surrounding areas?
  • Interested in getting involved with your local community?
  • Care about protecting and enhancing our greenspaces?
     

Growing Hollingdean in partnership with Brighton & Hove Food Partnership is inviting you to help us planting trees, pruning and tending to the edible garden. outside Hollingdean Family Hub and in Hollingdean Park. 
 

Sign up for free and get involved over the following three sessions;
 

Planting cherry trees in front of the family hub
Tuesday 17th Feb 10am - 4pm
Join us to plant a cherry tree in the chrilden's area in front of the Family Hub
 

Community planting session
Thursday 19th Feb 10am - 4pm
Practical planting activities and learning about food forests
 

Tree care and basic pruning
Friday 20th Feb 10am - 4pm
Cutting back the trees shading the orchard
 

There will be food and drink at each event, children are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult, we will be outside so please bring warm clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
 

Sign up for each event via the 'Register Now' button; 

  1. Please only register adults attending.  There is a question when you register for your ticket asking if you are bringing children and if so, how many.
  2. You will have to register separately for each event day.
