  • Looking for something fun to do in the winter?
  • Are you a resident near Saunders Park or surrounding areas?
  • Interested in getting involved with your local community?
  • Care about protecting and enhancing our greenspaces?
     

Brighton & Hove Food Partnership is inviting you to help develop our community growing space at Saunders Park Community Garden on Lewes Road.
You will learn about edible forest garden and permaculture principles, whilst contributing to this green oasis that can be enjoyed by residents and wildlife for years to come.

  • Wednesday 21st January 2026  9.30am - 12.30pm - Planting Session
  • Wednesday 4th February 2026  9.30am - 12.30pm - Tree Planting and Orchard Pruning
  • Wednesday 18th February 2026  9.30am - 12.30pm - Maintenance session


Please bring clothes which are suitable for the weather and you don’t mind getting mucky and sturdy boots. Please bring your own gardening gloves if you have them.

The session leader is Rosie Linford

This session is only appropriate for people with minimal support needs. Please contact The Green Wellbeing Alliance for therapeutic gardening sessions.
