Class description: Learn Telemark Flat brush techniques in this rosemaling class taught by Lise Lorentzen Class will explore, design and painting typical Telemark flowers and scrolls. The first class session will introduce Telemark flat brush techniques for flowers and scrolls and students will work along with the instructor to develop skills and practice them. The second session will review work done by the students during the week and then apply flat brush techniques in creating a design on a surface of the students choice.
The class will take place over multiple dates:
- Monday August 7, 2023, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Central Standard
- Thursday August 10, 2023, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Central Standard
Class level: Beginner and intermediate
Medium being used : Acrylics
Other mediums allowed: Oils welcome
Surface: Students can paint on wood, painted bristol or cardboard choosing dimensions and shapes that they want to work on. Instructor will answer questions about designing on various shaped and sized surfaces.

Instructor biography: I have been Rosemaling for 43 years and teaching for 30, adding remote classes in 2020 and have a You Tube channel Rosemaling by Art of Lise.
Location: This is an online class hosted on Zoom. All technical requirements needed to join the class are the responsibility of the student. RCC virtual classes will not be recorded. All classes are listed in the Central time zone.
