Join the Associate Board of Gilda’s Club Chicago at Uncommon Ground for the screening of Haunted Honeymoon starring Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner. Movies this silly, this unburdened by expectation, and this welcoming are just not made today. The screening is close enough to Halloween, so wear your costumes! There will be a 50/50 raffle as well as door prizes. And probably a prize for best costume. You'll have to show up to find out!

Quick serious turn: Haunted Honeymoon was Gilda Radner's last film appearance as she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer shortly after the movie was released. It was also the last film directed by Gene Wilder, Gilda's husband. After Gilda's death less than 3 years after the film's release, Gene Wilder and Joanna Bull, Gilda's oncology therapist, founded Gilda's Club with the goal that no one should have to fight cancer alone.

Funds raised by this event will support Gilda’s Club Chicago’s mission: to ensure that all people impacted by any type of cancer, as well as their families and friends, can feel they are part of a welcoming community of support.

WE HOST ONE OF THE BEST OPEN MICS IN THE COUNTRY EVERY SUNDAY, WHICH IS SPONSORED BY SHURE & GREENSTAR ORGANIC BREWERY. MANY OF OUR TALENTED NIGHTLY PERFORMERS HAVE GONE ON TO CRITICAL ACCLAIM.
