Description

You are cordially invited to join us the night before the 40th Annual Gingerbread Gallery opens to the public for an exclusive first look at this year's delicious exhibition. Meet and mingle with the staff of the Erie Canal Museum, marvel at an array of gingerbread creations from local bakers, and enjoy refreshments along with other Museum supporters. 

Doors open at 4:30pm and the event lasts until 6:30 pm. At 5:00 pm there will be a short award ceremony for the winners of the Erie Canal Bicentennial Research Project.

All invited are entitled to one additional guest to join them. If you cannot RSVP here for any reason, please call us at (315) 471-0593.

The Erie Canal Museum, located in Downtown Syracuse, NY, engages the public in the story of the Erie Canal’s transformative impacts on peoples and places in the past, present, and future. We are stewards and interpreters of Erie Canal related materials and heritage. The Museum is housed in the 1850 National Register Weighlock Building, the last remaining structure of its kind. Visit us for exhibits with interactive displays and original artifacts, and engaging programs. The Erie Canal Museum is a must-see for adults and children of all ages.
