Description
Glitterfox is the indie folk project of married couple Solange Igoa and Andrea Walker with the more recent addition of their best friend, Eric Stalker, on bass. Born in 2012 in the backyard house party scene of Long Beach, CA, Glitterfox first found an audience with their rough-around-the-edges Americana dubbed “sheer acoustic awesomeness” in the Long Beach Post. With some local success and a hunger for life on the highway the couple next moved into a van and spent two years living on the road, gigging night after night up and down the west coast. In 2018 Glitterfox settled down in Portland, OR to begin work on their debut album Fringe which features fan favorites “Honey” and “Kentucky Night.” Glitterfox is currently preparing to release Night, a 5 song EP engineered and co-produced by David Jacobs-Strain. Night leans into 80s influences and features more ambitious production that illuminates the bright edges in the couple's simple, ragged storyline of a tender love on the road.
