Global Holiday Traditions Homeschool Program with Harris Library

Description

The Museum of Work and Culture and the Woonsocket Harris Public Library will host the second program in their bi-monthly free educational series for homeschool families. 

For December's program, attendees will take a trip around the world exploring global Holiday traditions. Hear from members of different communities as they discuss how their culture celebrates various holidays.    

The program will begin at the Museum of Work and Culture for the first hour, and then participants will move to the Harris Public Library for the remaining time, where students will continue their journey around the world through 12 interactive stations.

This two-part program will have two sessions, each starting at the Museum of Work and Culture. Families may register for the 10 am-12 pm session or the 11 am-1 pm session. Space is limited, and registration is required. Contact mowc@rihs.org for questions.
