About the Show:
Set in late 1941, I'll Be Home for Christmas tells the story of faith, family, and a nation on the brink of World War II as they prepare to celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace. This heartwarming musical features:
- Action centered in the main characters' home
- Choir performances integrated with dramatic radio broadcasts
- Musical styles of the 1940s including:
- Swing
- Lush ballads
- Big band arrangements
The production combines original compositions with beloved Christmas classics, all woven together through period radio broadcasts that capture the spirit of the era.
