Description

Golden Gala: Thank You For Being A Friend…of the Museum

This museum event is to provide a celebration for the museum’s new piece of entertainment memorabilia from the TV series The Golden Girls. Jamie Wooten, one of the writers of the series and recent Wall of Fame recipient has donated several items to the Wayne County Museum. Come downtown to the museum and learn about Jamie’s Wayne County influences with his writing and the stories behind his donations in a fun fundraiser. There will be a costume contest, raffles, and of course, cheesecake.

The raffle items are donated to the event from local community businesses and organizations. Raffle tickets are a dollar each and will be available for purchase at the event. Those who are members of the Wayne County Historical Association and Museum will receive a complimentary raffle ticket at the event with their paid ticket.

All proceeds benefit the Wayne County Museum.
