Description
This is an exciting time of the year here at Govin's. We invite you to come and enjoy our farm babies. Our farm offers a hands on experience with friendly and loving farm animals. Children as well as adults will be able to have interaction with our animals. You will be able to hold and feed the animals or just enjoy seeing lambs nursing and bouncing around their mothers.
While you are here you can learn more about our animals from our staff or by reading the informational signs up around the barn. You might also have a chance to witness a birth while you are here! Some of the animals to interact with include sheep, lambs, pigs, piglets, goats, kids (baby goats), chicks, alpacas and ponies. Our motto is, if it fits in your lap we will help you hold it. Remember all activities are in a barn so dress accordingly, it is very clean but you never know what will happen when you are holding an animal. Also, the barn is not heated so make sure you dress for cool temperatures.
We will also have giant slide rides and pony rides available, weather permitting. When you need a break from the barn, join us in the store for Apple Cider Donuts, Kettle Corn, lunch and beverages.
In an effort to help the families with small children who take an afternoon nap, if your party does not need a nap, please consider coming after 12pm.
