Join us in person on March 9 at 1600 in The Central Florida Tech Grove to connect with other members of our community from industry, government, and academia to find connections, collaborations, opportunities, and information.
In addition to the great networking, we will once again offer an opportunity to learn about a broadly applicable platform for the modeling, simulation, and training industry. Epic Games will share information about the company and provide a brief demonstration of Unreal Engine. They will also be making an important announcement about the Unreal community. You can thank them for providing snacks and beverages too!
"Game engine technology is at the heart of the shift in immersive experiences, heralding a new age of content creation, interactive storytelling, design-driven development, and business process innovation. Unreal Engine is at the forefront of this transformation. As real-time technology becomes even more advanced and anyone, anywhere has the power to create photorealistic animation, design, and 3D visualization instantly, entire industries and digital economies will be revolutionized for the better. What this all adds up to is a radically better way to create, innovate, and collaborate. With Unreal Engine, creators can speed up processes, drive faster iterations and revisions, and most importantly, ensure better quality and outcomes. Unreal Engine is the world’s most open and advanced real-time 3D tool. Creators across games, film, television, architecture, automotive and transportation, advertising, live events, and training and simulation choose Unreal to deliver cutting-edge content, interactive experiences, and immersive virtual worlds."

Central Florida Tech Grove
The Central Florida Tech Grove is a hub for accelerating collaboration and innovation in defense modeling, simulation, training, and human performance. Tech Grove is located in the Central Florida Research Park in Orlando, Florida which is the epicenter of the nation's largest cluster of government, industry, academic, and industry organizations developing and delivering training and simulation products for our nation's military. Tech Grove was established in 2020 through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) and the University of Central Florida Research Foundation. Seven other Department of Defense entities are Tech Grove members: US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), US Air Force Agency for Modeling & Simulation (AFAMS), US Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), US Army Simulation & Training Technology Center (STTC), US Army Futures Command Synthetic Training Environment Cross-Functional Team (STE CFT), US Space Force Space Launch Delta 45 (SLD45), and the Office of Naval Research through the NavalX Central Florida Tech Bridge.
