GRAND Acoustic Entertainment
Nick Bosse
Nick Bosse is a singer-songwriter and Nashville recording artist whose distinctly authentic take on country music rejects the generic status quo of the genre pushed by the corporate music industry. A lifelong musician, Nick’s first forays into the scene took place in 2013 with a series of cover gigs in local bars, shortly after which he formed his backing band The Northern Roots, who have been traveling and performing with him ever since. With a unique gritty identity that builds on the groundwork laid by country icons from Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings to Johnny Cash, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers and beyond, Nick’s vocals immerse his diverse and growing global fanbase into a bygone world: one where man and nature co-existed together in harmony, where blue-collar families stuck together and lived off the land, and where patriotism in its purest, most positive form was a key part of life. Now, with a host of achievements under his belt, including his first recording in Nashville, hitting 2 million streams on his single What Happened To Country, winning a New England Music Award for Best Vocalist, and headlining shows at both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, Nick is preparing for his biggest year yet. Plans to expand his presence even further with more live gigs and tour dates are already on the horizon, taking Nick one step closer to achieving his mission of showing the world that the sentiment of country music can be universally appreciated.
Shelby Rae Marshall
In a mobile home just off the Brazos River in Millsap, Texas, little Shelby Rae began her singing career, preforming homespun shows for family and neighbors. At 7, she would take her show on the road — when her family built a house about an hour south in Dublin. There, near extended family and in their small, local church, Gospel music grafted into her bones. A young Shelby would also learn to play piano. But she soon realized that her real passion was for the dulcet tones and story-bearing capabilities of the guitar, following in her Great Uncle’s, and Father’s footsteps. At the age of 10, she began writing her own songs, and Two years later, she found herself in the Texas Hill Country, where she sang in choir and continued honing her 6-string skills, writing songs late into the nights in her room. After years of posting her performances on the socials, Marshall decided it was time to take the show out of the room and onto the stage. After all, “it’s alright to be a little Honky’er than the rest.”
From Nashville Twang to Southern Gospel Bluegrass to Texas Country, fans of the “Princess of Texas Hill Country Music” enjoy heartfelt, emotional originals and join-in relatable covers.
