Description

Starting Monday, October 6th

Held every Monday from 10/6-11/10 from 5:15-6:15PM

Discover how living with gratitude can transform your perspective and bring more meaning into your everyday life. Join professional artist and teacher Julie Jarvis for six-weeks of guided journaling, designed to nurture mindfulness, deepen connections, and create space for joy—even in life’s imperfections.

As Julie shares: “Living a grateful life is not an exercise in avoiding the hard stuff by pretending things are okay when they are not. Instead, living gratefully is being fully present to your life so that your perspective can be expanded, your compassion enhanced, and your purpose discovered in this moment.”

Throughout this series, you’ll learn how to cultivate gratitude as a daily practice, supported by writing prompts, thoughtful reflection, and group conversation. Each week will focus on a different theme to expand your awareness and appreciation:

Gratitude for Everyday Moments – noticing and celebrating small joys
Appreciating Relationships – honoring the people who enrich your life
Gratitude for Personal Growth – finding meaning in challenges and resilience
Nature and Environment – connecting with the beauty of the natural world
Gratitude for Self – fostering self-compassion and inner appreciation
Finding Gratitude in Difficult Times – discovering silver linings amid hardship

Come to one or come to all! Participants will learn to engage in a practice that lowers stress, enhances well-being, and opens the heart to deeper connection with self, others, and the world around them.
